Places to Visit in Dearborn

Due to Covid-19 a  lot of places, such as small stores, salons, and restaurants, have shut down or have implemented strict regulations on certain places in Dearborn, Michigan that helped spread COVID-19. Here is a list of safe places and activities  in Dearborn with regulations to visit:

Local parks

If you are looking for a bit of fresh air or physical activity, you can visit some of the local parks around the city such as Hemlock Park , Ford Woods, As of right now, there are currently no regulations for the city  parks in Dearborn.

Restaurants

If you are looking for places to eat out during COVID-19, restaurants in Dearborn are open for carry out and/ or  an outside area is available to sit and eat. Maximum of 10 people on a table with proper social distancing between each table.

Ice cream shops, such as La Gelati and Dairy Queen, are open to go out and eat ice cream in Dearborn. There is the option of outdoor seating areas available to sit down and enjoy ice cream. Masks are required inside the store. 

Pools

This year, the city has struggled to find enough lifeguards for pools, so only one pool was open. The new Ford Woods Pool is currently open. Masks have to be on when not swimming/ in the sitting area. 

Drive in movie theaters

Ford Drive in Theatre: If you are looking for a drive in movie theatre, there is only one in Dearborn. There are no regulations. Movies can be watched outdoors while sitting in the back of your truck/ trunk. 

Museums

 The Arab American National Museum is not open due to COVID-19, but instead is offering multiple virtual programs with courses for students nationwide.
